With the sailing now done and a chill back in the air, it was time to celebrate the achievements

of all of our sailors over the past season.

We are particularly proud of our Juniors who, under the guidance of our sail trainers Hendo, Tim and Max,

have all demonstrated significant improvements in their sailing skills.

We may even see the establishment of their own Opti class competition next season. Well done!

Clint Bradford, ably supported by daughter Marli was awarded Sailor of the Year, while a beaming Oscar Dent took out the Most Improved Junior’s trophy and Max Sturman the Most Improved Senior.

Peter and Deanna Henderson won the 125’s Club Championship in “Carnivore”

and Shane and Will Woods were winners in the Heron class in their boat “Over Budget”.

Congratulations to all of our sailors and we look forward to a great season ahead.
